Interviews.

Please consider taking part in this study by participating in an online interview.

In an interview, you will be asked about your current occupation, and how you think about "work." So, some of the questions you will be asked include whether you enjoy the work that you do, what you think of your work environment, and how you define "success" both at work and at home.

In brief, the interview will provide an opportunity for you to delve deeper into the kinds of questions asked in the survey.

In order to be eligible, you must:

  1. Be between 20 - 45 years of age.
  2. Work in a job (part-time or full-time) that does not require a university degree. (This can be in either the public or private sector, and it can be in any industry: e.g., construction, retail, healthcare, etc.).
  3. Work at an organization/company/institution based in Ontario, Canada.
The interview could take between 1 – 2 hours in length. The interviews can take place either in person or online (over Zoom). If you would like to participate in an interview, please complete the survey (you will be given the opportunity at the end of the survey to sign up for an interview).

In conducting the interview, we are hoping to find out about:
  1. You as an individual (biography)
  2. How you think about “work” and its relationship to other aspects of your life (e.g. “home,” “leisure,” “success,” etc.)
